This charming traditional character cottage offers TWO bedrooms: 1 cosy double and 1 spacious twin. Bathroom: wet room with WC. All situated on the first floor reached via steep cottage-style stairs. Lounge: has many character features including original granite fireplace with woodburner and offers comfy seating flatscreen TV DVD and Freeview. Kitchen/diner: with handmade bespoke traditional style units range cooker fridge with ice compartment microwave washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside: large enclosed garden with patio area garden furniture and BBQ with the lawn backing onto one of the Helford s tributaries (please note the neighbouring property has right of access through the garden). Amenities: roadside parking is usually available outside the property. Bed linen towels and electric included. Central heating included October-April. Wi-Fi available. Regret no smoking or pets within the property. Location: beach 6 miles river shop and pub within walking distance.

Helston is a market town in southern Cornwall, England. It is distinguished by being the most southerly town in England as well as the second oldest in Cornwall (after Marazion). It is located within a few miles of Sithney, Porthleven, Wendron, Breage, and Crowan and is one of over 250 towns or villages in Cornwall in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest city is the Cornish capital of Truro with the much larger port of Plymouth being further afield.
Located at the northern end of the Lizard Peninsula Helston used to be known for tin mining, but now tourism forms a large part of its income, given its location in the South West of Cornwall between Penzance and Falmouth, which makes it ideal for exploring this part of the country. The town has become known for its annual Furry Dance (also known as the Flora Dance), which is thought to have originated in medieval times.
